The Department of Agriculture Water and the Environment is a body of the Australian Government. The function of this body is to work and partner with other governments, the public, and other stakeholders to improve and protect Australia's agricultural industry, the Australian environment, and the Australian environmental heritage, and promote sustainable use of Australian water resources. This organization is responsible for enforcing laws protecting Australia's environmental and agricultural interests. Prosentient provides services hosting an online catalog of resources and information relating to the environment and agriculture, and their management, through Koha, an open source library management system.
