What is Inter-Search?

Inter-Search is a set of products provided by Prosentient Systems to give special libraries access to effective library software at a low cost in a hosted service model.

The Inter-Search Koha solution is a full integrated library management system framed around the Koha open source library management system.

The Inter-Search Dspace solution is a powerful open source digital library solution widely used for managing digital document repositories.

The Inter-Search networks solution is a community-based Inter-Library Loan system developed to meet the needs of libraries who face the cost pressure of existing ILL arrangements. Several large library networks - including GratisNet, GLASS, ALIES, QSHARE, GLINN and LILLI currently deploy Inter-Search for their ILL sharing activities, supporting over 400 libraries in Australia, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand. If you wish to join an existing network or establish a new network, contact us at support@intersearch.com.au for further information. We can create a domain and full ILL intranet for your network.

The Inter-Search document delivery solution complements Koha in providing a full document delivery system integrated with our Inter-Search networks solution.

We have also partnered with Molten Media to provide low cost RFID solutions for special libraries.

What is my intranet login and password?

You will be given an intranet login and password when you subscribe to the services. There is a password reminder page which allows email reminder/reset of passwords.

How do I notify bugs and support issues?

Email support@intersearch.com.au or raise an issue on our issues register (self registration is allowed) at http://www.intersearch.com.au/issues . You can also follow discussion and enhancements notices at http://listserve.prosentient.com.au - email us if you want to contribute to or join this list. Inter-search networks also have their own individual discussion lists which you can join once you subscribe to the networks.
