6. Document Versioning and Document Recover
Inter-Publish as 4 basic workflow states:
Draft - documents which have to yet been sent to the web site
Published - documents which have been published to the web site
Deleted - documents which are marked as deleted (and removed from the website)
Archived - documents which are marked as archived (but may be still on the website)
More advanced workflow states are also possible.
Whenever documents are changed, a version of the document is created in the document version archive. Document versions are retained for as long as the site policy dictates and documents can be recovered at any point to an earlier version (and subsequently restored to a later version.
This section outlines methods for restoring versions and for recovering deleted and archived documents. Note, when a is
from
the DELETED section, this document is no longer visible or searchable from the document catalogue. However, it can still be recovered from the versioning archive using the Recover function in Site Setup (see Recovering Deleted documents).
