2.3 Editors

Editors are usually responsible for editing the page contents. Page editors require access to the document types that are used to generate the content for the web pages. Common document types that are edited by editors are HTML pages, as the editor can enter the page contents into a visual editor with no HTML or CSS knowledge required. Editors can also be involved with uploading images and other files such as pdf's onto pages. To grant privileges on a document type basis, follow the steps below:

1 Add a new InterPublish user as described previously, or edit an existing user by clicking on the edit hyperlink corresponding to the user.

2 From the list, select the document types that will require editing by the editor, and then click the save button at the top of the page.
